​Stephanie Bratton, MSW, LCSW: 

Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and received her bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and her masters degree from the University of South Carolina Columbia.  She has been working as a clinical therapist in New Bern, NC for over 15 years.  She offers individual, couples, family and group therapy to people ages 16 and up.  Stephanie's specialties include working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, loss and grief, abuse, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, and coping with chronic mental or physical illnesses.  Stephanie's goal is to work with each individual client, and their primary care providers to develop new skills and coping strategies.   For her own health and happiness Stephanie enjoys time with her husband, two boys, family and friends.  She lives an active lifestyle boating, paddle boarding, running and spin classes.

Heather Brewer, MSW, LCSW:

Heather is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Exercise Physiologist.  She received her undergraduate degree in Health and Sports Science from Wake Forest University.  She went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1989 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003  Heather provides individual therapy to the adolescent, adult and geriatric population.  She began her professional career in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and has over 20 years of experience addressing health and mental health issues. Heather provides individual therapy to the adolescent, adult and geriatric population. Her focus is to assist clients in finding balance in their lives and helping them maximize their physical and emotional health.  She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, stress management, grief, weight loss, coping with chronic illness and healthy lifestyle modifications.  Heather uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing to help clients make positive changes in their lives. Heather is a native North Carolinian and thrilled to be living by the water in Oriental, N.C.  She maintains her own health and balance by spending time with her husband and lab, running, kayaking, paddle boarding and writing.
